Williamson Project in El Cerrito
COMPLETED - March 18, 2017
Thank you to everyone that served in March on the Williamson Project. This project provided great encouragement to a single woman that supports a disabled son, along with his two special-needs children. Much was completed on this project by removing grass and weeds, installing irrigation, installing flower gardens, painting trim, repairing the wood railing, and painting a swing set. JP families also went door-to-door in the neighborhood delivering Easter baskets with gifts, along with an invitation to Easter service. This transformation was pretty special and the entire family was blessed by all that was done.
Thank you for serving your neighbors and loving them so well.
Welcome to Kevin Cain, James Project Director
(and our own Outreach Pastor)
To Our Amazing Leaders and Volunteers:
We are currently going through restructuring of James Project. The new Director of James Project is our wonderful Outreach Pastor Kevin Cain, and all questions regarding James Project should be directed to him at [email protected]. Thank you for your patience as we go through this transition.
Here are some other opportunities to serve in James Project, and we would ask that you prayerfully consider these options:
2. Mary Folk Yard Care – Joelle Brumbaugh has agreed to lead this team, and we need about 6 to 8 volunteers to get
it started. Mary Folk was a recipient of James Project back in 2014 and is confined to a wheelchair. She has no family,
and is physically unable to care for her yard. We are adopting her yard, and would like to
get a team to go out together to get the yard up to speed, then each person will take 1 or 2 months out of the year to
weed and trim. If you are able to help this sweet lady please contact Joelle directly at: [email protected] or
(951) 741-6879
3. Campbell Yard Care Team – The Men’s Ministry has come through to take care of the Campbell’s Yard for the next year,
but if you would like to help this wonderful family and get in the roster once a year, then please contact Steve Campbell
directly at: [email protected] or (951) 751-4934
Thank you for all that you do, because without you the volunteers there would be no James Project.
Blessings,
James Project Leadership Team
